Addressing the media on the occasion, Rama Rao voiced his disappointment over the speech, stating that it overlooked crucial issues, including the 420 unfulfilled promises and six guarantees made by the Congress government. He criticized the Revanth Reddy-led administration for failing farmers, highlighting the non-implementation of the promised crop loan waiver. He also held the Congress government responsible for 480 farmer suicides.
In his speech, the Governor praised the Congress for implementing crop loan waivers and Rythu Bharosa, which drew strong objections from the Opposition benches. They argued that the government had failed to execute these schemes fully and transparently.
