Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra inaugurated a half-day summit on GSTAT, India’s specialised GST appellate body. The tribunal, now fully operational, aims to provide a transparent, efficient, and digital platform for GST dispute resolution ahead of the June 30, 2026 appeal cut-off.

In September, the finance ministry had notified 31 benches of GSTAT, which will be set up in 28 states and 8 Union Territories.
