The Hyderabad Police have announced elaborate security measures for the Veer Hanuman Jayanthi procession scheduled on Thursday. Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar stated that 168 processions, including the main one from Gowliguda to Tadbun, will be held.
In view of processions being taken out from Gowliguda Ram Mandir to Hanuman Mandir, Tadbund in Secunderabad, and Karmanghat Hanuman Temple to Koti, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi on April 12, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have placed certain traffic restrictions in the city.
