Several districts, including Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, and Bhadradri Kothagudem, are expected to experience moderate rainfall due to the impact of Cyclone Fengal.
On Friday evening, heavy rainfall in Siddipet and Medak districts caused significant damage to paddy farmers. Despite their efforts to dry the paddy along the Narsapur-Medak road in Kowdipally, the crops were washed away by the rainwater, leaving the farmers feeling helpless.
Predominantly cultivated by local communities using traditional methods, mainly in Ri Bhoi and East Garo Hills districts, these crops are primarily organic. Their exceptional quality and flavor are gaining recognition not just in India but internationally as well.
