The IMD Hyderabad has issued a two-day heavy rainfall warning for nine Telangana districts, including Adilabad and Khammam. Other districts are expected to receive light to moderate rain, while strong surface winds of up to 40 kmph are likely across the State.

The Hyderabad Met department has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Hyderabad and several Telangana districts from August 14–17, and a yellow alert from August 11–13. Light to moderate rain is expected statewide till August 17
