IMD issues heavy rainfall warning for nine Telangana districts
The IMD Hyderabad has issued a two-day heavy rainfall warning for nine Telangana districts, including Adilabad and Khammam. Other districts are expected to receive light to moderate rain, while strong surface winds of up to 40 kmph are likely across the State.

Hyderabad: India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, on Wednesday issued a two-day heavy rainfall warning to select districts of Telangana.
The heavy rainfall warning, indicating rainfall levels ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm, has been issued for Adilabad, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Khammam districts.
The rest of the districts in Telangana might witness light to moderate rainfall for the next few days. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places over Telangana,” the IMD, Hyderabad, said.
Strong surface winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 kmph will continue to remain active all through the State for the rest of this week, the IMD, Hyderabad, indicated on Wednesday.
