The incident occurred when the victim, K Lokesh (20), a second year B Tech student from a private engineering college along with his friend Rajiv were proceeding on Lokesh’s scooter from Punjagutta towards Ameerpet

Soon after the incident the GHMC workers blocked the road and staged a protest demanding action against the bus driver and ex-gratia to the victim.
