Hyderabad-based shooter Mohammed Ashraf Ganyani won silver in the 300m Rifle Prone Men’s Individual event and bronze at the Telangana State Shooting Championship hel as part of the Deccan Elite Grand Prix. Former DGP Anjani Kumar presented prizes to the winners.
Three persons were detained by Rachakonda police in connection with the attack on gau rakshak Sonu Singh in Pocharam. A cattle trader, Ibrahim, allegedly opened fire on Singh before fleeing with two others. The BJP plans a protest on Thursday.
