Afghanistan have climbed to sixth place in the ICC Men's ODI Team Rankings, their highest-ever position. The rise comes after consistent performances in international cricket, including impressive victories in recent series and major global tournaments across formats

Afghanistan’s Sediqullah Atal and Rashid Khan improved their ICC ODI rankings after a 158-run win over Zimbabwe. Atal climbed to 20th among batters, while Rashid strengthened his lead at the top of the bowling rankings after taking four wickets.

Abhishek Sharma climbed to second in the ICC T20I batting rankings after his 82 against Afghanistan, while Ishan Kishan retained the top spot. Sanju Samson, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh also gained places, alongside notable movements in ODI and Test rankings.

India's Vaibhav Sooryavanshi climbed 230 places to 48th in the ICC T20I rankings after a stellar series in Zimbabwe, while Shubman Gill regained the No. 1 ODI batter ranking. West Indies and Pakistan players also made significant gains in the latest rankings.

New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell regained the top spot in the ICC Men’s ODI rankings after a prolific series against India, scoring 352 runs and leading the visitors to their first-ever ODI series win on Indian soil.

Opener Shubman Gill has achieved a career-best second position and is the highest-ranked among three Indian batters, who are now in the top 10 of the ICC Men's ODI rankings.
