According to reports, residents of two BC colonies in Sanjeevaraopet had resorted to drawing drinking water from a well after a disruption of water supply through the Mission Bhagiratha scheme
They were taken to Paloncha government hospital for treatment. One villager, who was in serious condition, was moved to the Government General Hospital in Kothagudem. It was reported that members of three families from the village had eaten non-vegetarian food and drank borewell water at a family function on Friday.
