Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation launched a drive against unauthorised constructions in Uppal, Kapra and LB Nagar zones on Thursday. Officials demolished unauthorised floors, rooms and sheds and removed encroachments, while directing owners and developers to follow approved building plans and municipal permissions.
Following the Gachibowli building collapse that killed two workers, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G Srijana directed officials to identify and demolish unauthorised under-construction buildings. The drive will target specified constructions, with demolitions monitored daily to ensure enforcement and accountability.
