Actress Aditi Rao Hydari has been honoured with the Diversity in Cinema award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. The Heeramandi star shared the moment on Instagram, expressing gratitude while also revealing upcoming projects including Parivarik ManuRanjan and O Saathi Re.
Filmmakers Kabir Khan and Nithilan Swaminathan were jointly awarded Best Director for their work on Chandu Champion and Maharaja. Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, based on Anurag Pathak’s 2019 non-fiction book about Manoj Kumar Sharma’s journey from extreme poverty to becoming an IPS officer, was named Best Film at the event.
