The government has signed strategic MoUs with industry leaders and ecosystem enablers to strengthen support for DPIIT-recognised startups. The partnerships aim to improve access to digital payments, technology, mentorship, investment, global markets, skilling and capacity-building opportunities

Zerodha co-founder and CEO Nithin Kamath said the total addressable market size for startups in the country could only be around 10 crore.

India Quotient has already funded close to 70 startups over the last eight years.
