US President Donald Trump has imposed a $100,000 annual fee on H-1B visas, in a move set to hit Indian tech professionals and global firms. The order also limits renewals and introduces a million-dollar “gold card” visa option.
According to the tech education company Scaler, the increase in average salary hike reflects the continuing demand for skilled professionals in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
