Imports in May rose by 68.54 per cent to USD 38.53 billion, from USD 22.86 billion in May 2020.

Imports too rose by over three-fold to $45.45 billion last month as against $17.09 billion in April 2020.

Imports grew 6.98 per cent to $40.55 billion during the month, the data showed.
