Fuel prices are already touching new highs every other day.

Across the country as well the fuel prices remained unchanged. Fuel prices were last revised on Tuesday.

In line with petrol prices, the price of diesel is also increasing across the country, but its retail price rise remained unchanged on Monday.

The retail prices of both petrol and diesel rose by a sharp 35 paise per litre on Saturday to touch new high of Rs 98.11 and Rs 88.65 per litre respectively in Delhi.

Across the country as well, the petrol and diesel price prices remained static on Thursday but its actual retail prices varied depending on the level of local levies in respective states.

On Monday, the oil marketing companies (OMCs) raised the price of petrol and diesel between 26 and 31 paise per litre across the four metros.

The benchmark Brent crude is currently close to $74 on the ICE or Intercontinental Exchange .

With the latest increase, the retail prices of petrol and diesel increased by 25 paise per litre to touch Rs 95.56 and Rs 86.47 per litre respectively in Delhi.
