Hyundai Motor will halt operations of Line 12 at its Ulsan Plant 1 in South Korea from Feb 24 to 28 to adjust production volumes amid sluggish domestic sales and declining orders
Hyundai Motor has received about 43,000 preorders for the Ioniq 5 since Feb. 25 but just 114 units were delivered in the first month of its domestic launch in April, according to industry data.
Hyundai will halt the operation of the Asan plant, 100 kilometers south of Seoul, which produces the Grandeur and Sonata sedans, from Monday to Tuesday, a company spokesman said over the phone.
