At a press briefing on Sunday, Ihusan stated that the decision to ban Israeli nationals was made at a Cabinet meeting earlier that day in response to local citizens' calls following devastating attacks in Gaza, Xinhua news agency reported.
The three countries jointly called on Hamas and Israel to reach an agreement as mediators in ongoing discussions to secure a Gaza ceasefire and the release of hostages and detainees, according to Xinhua.
