Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz ordered the IDF to draft plans to resume a Gaza offensive if Hamas fails to demilitarise and return all hostage remains, warning that Israel — with U.S. coordination — would act to defeat Hamas and dismantle its infrastructure.
The Minister announced on Thursday that Israeli troops deployed in southern Syria "are prepared to prevent the entry of hostile forces into the area of Druze villages," adding the forces continue to monitor developments with readiness for "various scenarios".
