In addition to filing a complaint with the II-Town Police, the Dalit MLA also submitted a complaint to Speaker G Prasad Kumar. Following this, the Speaker instructed the District Collector to investigate the motive behind the priest recording images and videos of the MLA and his family and to submit a report.
The authorities have been ordered to expedite the works of setting up parks, landscaping, and developing the Tungabhadra Ghat and kept ready for inauguration in August.
