The court directed the State government to immediately formulate a comprehensive action plan to tackle the growing issue of stray dogs in Hyderabad within a week.
The petitioners contended that the actual plan showing the elevated corridors had not been shared with the general public including the residents of the area.
The court expressed dissatisfaction towards the Additional Advocate General (AAG) and said the State had not complied with the apex court's guidelines which were required to be followed by every State.
