The anti-Naxal campaign in Chhattisgarh gained momentum as Ramko Mandavi, bodyguard of wanted Maoist leader Rupi, surrendered in Kanker district. Two other hardcore cadres also laid down arms, signalling weakening rebel networks in the Bastar region.
