Three Naxalites, including area committee members, were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district on Sunday. With this, 252 Maoists have been eliminated across the state this year, police said.
Kanker SP Indira Kalyan Elesela stated that police, along with BSF and SSB, conducted a joint operation in the Koyalibeda area. The operation resulted in an encounter in which 3 Naxals were killed and 3 guns were recovered.
