The Telangana High Court has taken suo motu cognisance of a disturbing incident in Mahabubabad district where a man suffering from kidney ailments was denied admission at a government hospital for lack of an attendant and Aadhaar card.
A kidney patient in Mahabubabad was mistakenly declared dead and sent to the mortuary, only to be found alive the next morning. Denied admission due to lack of Aadhaar and an attendant, he collapsed after days of neglect. Despite being shifted to intensive care, he died on Monday.
