After realising that her comments triggered a political storm, Forest Minister Konda Surekha charged that her statements were deliberately distorted by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS)
The BRS working president said Surekha made repeated, deliberate and malicious comments to defame him and damage his reputation as well as gain cheap publicity by creating sensational news to further her political agenda
The notice follows Surekha's defamatory remarks against Rama Rao, including accusation of phone tapping during his tenure as a Minister and personal allegations against him.
