A farmer allegedly attempted to die by suicide after accusing police of filing a false case against him and his two sons under the influence of village rivals. He was shifted to a Hyderabad hospital, where his condition was said to be critical.

After coming to know about the incident, Dalit organisations staged a protest demanding action against the miscreants.
