Tamil Nadu CBCID arrested four persons in an alleged ₹100 crore temple land fraud case involving Dhandapani Swamy Mutt linked to Palani temple. Investigators allege forged documents were used to transfer property illegally and are probing possible involvement of officials

Police said the suspects had tried to grab lands in Gagan Pahad from local residents and government lands by creating forged land documents

Officials said it was an old case registered against the two MLAs and there is no further development in it.

Land grabbing in any form shall be prohibited and declared unlawful and any such activity will be an offence punishable under the new Act.
