As per sources, the incident occurred on Sunday following which a persons named Rohit Godara, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, reportedly took responsibility for the shooting incident

The police stated there was a plan to procure weapons from a Pakistani arms supplier. An FIR has been registered against over 17 people, including Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, Sampat Nehra, and Goldy Brar.

"The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested six suspects in the Salman Khan shooting case, while four remain at large, prompting an ongoing search," officials stated.

Police announced on Friday that they have arrested a 20-year-old individual for allegedly booking a cab from the residence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan under the alias of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

The police said that Anmol Bishnoi, who is the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, wrote about the firing incident on Facebook and used threatening language.

Brar, involved in the sensational killing of famous Punjabi Singer Shubhdeep Singh alias Sidhu Moosewala, was arrested on Tuesday immediately after his deportation from UAE.

Brar was involved in the killing of popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, besides targeted killings of innocent people and businessmen, the NIA said.

All the arrested accused are habitual offenders and are history sheeters, said the Special cell of Delhi Police

Salman Khan has been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai police as the actor is perceived to be under threat.
