At least 27 people were killed in two separate mass shootings within hours in South African townships near Johannesburg and Cape Town. Eight gunmen armed with AK-47s and pistols attacked a bar in Wedela township late Saturday, killing 17, while another shooting early Sunday in Lwandle township left 10 dead.
