Opposition party leaders staged a satyagraha deeksha at Godavarikhani Chowk in Peddapalli district on Sunday, protesting the demolition of a woman’s shop by Ramagundam Municipal Corporation officials. The victim’s family alleged property worth Rs 35 lakh was destroyed and continued their agitation overnight.
