A large police force was deployed at the protest site to prevent the deeksha, but the agitating leaders continued to demonstrate.

BRS leader Koushika Hari criticised local MLA Makkan Singh Raj Takur, accusing him of implementing anti-people policies. He demanded justice for the family, stating that the demolished shop was their sole source of livelihood.
