Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim over breakfast in New Delhi on Sunday. Anwar is in India for the BRICS Summit and is scheduled to travel to Kerala after concluding his engagements.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that Anwar Ibrahim will make a state visit to India from August 19 to 21, at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. This will be Ibrahim's first visit to India as Malaysia's Prime Minister, according to the MEA.
