A Malkajgiri court has granted two days of police custody to former Army officer Mallesh, alias Raju, in the 20 Battalion of Madras Regiment arms theft case. Police will question him about the theft and possible involvement of others.
A Malkajgiri court granted one-week interim bail to Bandi Bageerath, who was arrested in a POCSO case registered by the Petbasheerabad police. The relief was granted to enable him to appear for examinations after his anticipatory bail plea was earlier rejected.
