Bandi Bageerath granted interim bail by Malkajgiri court to appear for exams
A Malkajgiri court granted one-week interim bail to Bandi Bageerath, who was arrested in a POCSO case registered by the Petbasheerabad police. The relief was granted to enable him to appear for examinations after his anticipatory bail plea was earlier rejected.

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri court granted ‘interim bail’, to Bandi Bageerath, who was arrested and remanded in a POCSO case by the Petbasheerabad police last month.
The police had registered a case against Bandi Bageerath, last month after the mother of the victim made a complaint alleging that the suspect had sexually assaulted her daughter on multiple instances on pretext of marriage. Following the case, Bandi Bageerath, was absconding for over a week and finally the police had arrested Bandi Bageerath, on May 16 and remanded him to judicial custody.
The interim bail was granted to Bandi Bageerath for a week to allow him to appear for exams.
Earlier, the lawyers of Bandi Bageerath, had filed an application for anticipatory bail in the court. However, the court rejected the anticipatory bail petition following which Bandi Bageerath, was arrested by the police and remanded.
