Jeedimetla police arrested Bodimi Shetty Haribabu, former assistant to Quthbullapur MLA K P Vivekanand, for allegedly cheating 84 people by promising them double bedroom flats. Haribabu collected Rs 1 lakh from each person and used the money to build a house.

The victim transferred Rs 5 lakh to the bank accounts as suggested by the conman

M Balaji Naidu (35), was arrested for similar offences earlier also in Bengaluru, Vijayawada and Tirupathi.
