The Werkself had a strong start in the final match of the 2023-24 season when Amine Adli blocked the kick-off from Augsburg goalkeeper Tomas Koubek. He then passed it to Victor Boniface, who scored into the empty goal, breaking the deadlock just 12 minutes into the game.
