Two decades after The Devil Wears Prada premiered, Meryl Streep has clarified that her portrayal of Miranda Priestly was not based on Anna Wintour. Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, she revealed that she drew inspiration from director Mike Nichols’ sly humour and Clint Eastwood’s understated authority.
On her Instagram story, Kareena posted about Streep's appearance at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The image shows the icon donning a white pantsuit with high-waisted trousers and a blue-and-white striped shirt peeking from under her blazer.
According to Deadline, the incident happened when a planned explosion in the early-morning hours of Friday went awry, sending glass flying and cutting Lawrence near her eye.
