Alwal police registered a POCSO case against eight persons following a complaint alleging the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl. Police said the girl was allegedly assaulted at multiple locations after being intoxicated, and efforts are underway to identify all those involved.
A 16-year-old girl allegedly sexually assaulted by a cab driver reported the incident after attending a 'Good Touch-Bad Touch' awareness programme at her school. Medipally police arrested the accused and remanded him in judicial custody. The investigation is continuing
