Facing intense protests from the BRS, the Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 303 crore to clear Overseas Scholarship dues for students from marginalised communities. The decision comes after weeks of unrest and is seen as a strategic move to ease public discontent before the Jubilee Hills bypoll.
He said the BRS would launch State-wide agitation against any such attempts. Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here on Wednesday, Eshwar pointed out that many students from disadvantaged backgrounds rely on these schools for higher education and better opportunities.
