Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar on Friday postponed the hearing on disqualification petitions against Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender to February 18, following a request from BJP floor leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy seeking more time to participate.

TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud has reiterated that 10 BRS MLAs joined the Congress to safeguard the State government from opposition threats. His remarks contradict the MLAs’ claims that they remain with BRS. Goud also criticised KT Rama Rao for lacking moral authority to speak on defections.
