The revised height of Mt. Everest puts an end to the decades-long dispute between the two neighbours on the height of the world's tallest mountain that straddles their shared border.
The Nepal government decided to measure the exact height of the mountain amid debates that there might have been a change in it due to various reasons, including earthquake of 2015.
The findings, which reveal the potential threat to Everest posed by plastic pollutants, were published in the environmental journal One Earth on Friday.
