Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar accused the Congress-led Telangana government of disguising a Muslim quota as part of the Kamareddy BC Declaration. He said the support for increased BC reservation would only be given if Muslims were excluded from the BC list.
The BJP’s national leadership has stated that the decision will have national implications. Former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Saturday in a press meet reminded that such divisive measures in the past led to the partition of the country.
