Relatives of two men declared brain dead in Hyderabad have donated their organs under the state-run Jeevandan initiative. The donations, facilitated with a green channel by traffic police, helped nine patients in need across different hospitals.
Relatives of a 75‑year‑old farmer from Chanduru, Nalgonda district, consented to donate his organs after he was declared brain dead following a road accident. Ramaswamy was hit by a two‑wheeler on November 20 and succumbed to grievous injuries despite four days of treatment in Hyderabad.
