According to Union Health Ministry data updated on Saturday the daily positivity rate was recorded at 6.78 while the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 4.49

The number of active cases has further declined to 5,86,403 and now comprises 1.94 per cent of the total infections, the data updated at 8 am showed.

The death toll climbed to 3,85,137 with 1,647 fresh fatalities and active cases comprise 2.55 per cent of the total infections.
