Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya felicitated ISSF World Cup gold medallists Esha Singh and Neeru Dhanda, praising their achievements and assuring continued government support as they prepare for the 2026 Asian Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
Neeru Dhanda won the women’s trap gold at the 68th National Shooting Championship in Delhi, while Aryavansh Tyagi clinched the junior men’s title. Madhya Pradesh and Haryana dominated team events, with Delhi securing gold in the junior women’s trap competition
The attention now shifts to the trap competition at the ISSF World Championship Shotgun 2025 in Athens. Six Indian shooters, including Neeru Dhanda and Zoravar Singh Sandhu, will compete against top international athletes for a chance at World Championship medals
