The Election Commission has made it mandatory for new voter applicants to provide their parents' Special Intensive Revision (SIR) details while filing Form 6. The poll body also defended the SIR exercise, rejecting concerns over transparency and alleged voter exclusions
This activity being held as a part of the Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls and Booth Level Officers will be available at all the polling stations to assist people.
