Former BRS MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran has accused the Congress government of ignoring farmers’ issues while shielding alleged encroachments in the Singur reservoir area. He demanded a criminal case and impartial inquiry, alleging that lands and water bodies dating back to the Nizam era were illegally occupied.
