State-owned OMCs have hiked commercial LPG cylinder prices by Rs 9.50 and raised aviation turbine fuel (ATF) rates by 5.46% to Rs 121.28 per litre, marking the second consecutive monthly increase. The hike is expected to raise airline operating costs and potentially airfares.

Fuel prices may likely increase with OMC's facing severe financial strain and no sign of lowering demands.

Oil Marketing Companies have confirmed that petrol, diesel and LPG supply in Telangana remains stable and sufficient. Daily LPG deliveries stand at 2.18 lakh cylinders, with demand normalising. Authorities also continue promoting PNG and improving distribution systems across the State.

The price of domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 25.50 per cylinder with effect from today and domestic cylinders weighing 14.2 kg will now cost Rs 834.50 in Delhi

Accordingly, the price of petrol and diesel were raised by 39 paisa and 37 paisa per litre respectively in Delhi on Saturday.
