US President Donald Trump expanded travel restrictions by adding 20 countries and the Palestinian Authority, citing security, vetting failures and visa overstays, significantly widening limits on entry and immigration as part of his administration’s tougher border and national security policy.
The US State Department has revoked the visas of several Palestinian Authority and Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) officials in advance of the UN General Assembly. This decision comes as part of the Trump administration's ongoing efforts to impose visa restrictions on Palestinian figures.
