Pawan Kalyan won the Pithapuram seat in Kakinada district, defeating veteran politician Vanga Geetha of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) by a margin of 70,279 votes.

The actor-politician has achieved his first electoral victory, and his party has become a formidable force by winning all 21 Assembly seats and both Lok Sabha seats it contested.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao also extended his wishes to Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan on securing a huge victory.
